Properties: Colorless thick oily liquid. It generates fumes in the air and is highly irritating and hygroscopic. It is soluble in water and potassium fluoride solutions. It is highly reactive and forms superacids with hydrofluoric acid and fluorosulfonic acid, significantly increasing its acidity. It has strong oxidizing properties and readily forms various adducts and molecular compounds.

Uses: HF/SbF5 is an excellent medium for preparing alkylene oxide salts.  It's other application is as below:

1) Catalyst: It can be used as a catalyst in various chemical reactions.

2) Fluorination agent: It is a source of fluorine in Fluorination reactions.

3) It reacts with Hydrofluoric acid to form Fluoroantimonic acid, a strong superacid.

Packing: Packed in 316L stainless steel tank, containing 800kg Antimony pentafluoride.
