Dimethylaminoethyl acrylate (DMAEA), a widely used quaternary amine acrylate, is also a multi-functional active monomer with the properties of olefins, amines and esters. Under certain conditions, quaternary amination, polymerization, addition and hydrolysis can occur. Since there is a carbon-carbon double bond activated by the ester group in the molecule, it is easy to perform all the addition reactions of the double bond, and then to make a variety of derivatives. The tertiary amine group of the copolymer can be cross-linked with the epoxy group at room temperature to prepare room temperature cross-linked coatings.
Application: There are two kinds of flocculants, inorganic macromolecule flocculants and organic macromolecule flocculants, which are widely used in water, wastewater and sludge dewatering at home and abroad. Inorganic polymer flocculant has the advantage of low cost, the advantages of organic polymer flocculant is a high molecular mass, with multiple functional groups, product stability is good, and the adsorption bridging capability is strong, good flocculation effect, wide applicable scope, o-phenylenediamine and produce less sludge quantity is little, the formation of flocs as well as good filterability, and organic polymer flocculants get more and more extensive development and application.
