Appearance:
White to off-white powder or granule.
Almost insoluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in acetone and anhydrous ethanol.

Application:
This product is commonly used as lubricant for tablets and capsules with a concentration of 0.5 ~ 2.0% (w/w).
As this product has less than one fatty chain and more than one hydrophilic group compared with magnesium stearate, so it can solve the problems related to the slow dissolution of magnesium stearate as lubricant.
It can improve disintegration and promoting dissolution, and can be used as a protective coat film in effervescent tablets.
This product is suitable for lubricants of prazole drugs, which are easy to react with magnesium stearate and cannot use magnesium stearate as lubricant.
Compatibility Taboo:This product is incompatible with chlorhexidine acetate.
