CFS-601, 3-(2,3-Epoxypropoxypropyl)methyldiethoxysilane is an epoxy functional silane which
mainly acts as a coupling agent and an adhesion promoter in coatings and sealants industries.
CFS-601, also called 3-Glycidoxypropylmethyldiethoxysilane, is the counterpart of Momentive
Wetlink 78 and ShinEtsu KBE-402.

Applications:
CFS-601 can be used as an adhesion promoter or a crosslinker in the coating and sealants
industries. It’s suitable for the processing of furniture adhesives, automotive sealants and
marine coatings. It is also used in acrylic and polyurethane waterborne coatings.
CFS-601 can improve electrical properties of composites therefore it is also used for the
preparation of electronic encapsulation and electronic packaging materials.
CFS-601 can act as a surface modifier of various inorganic fillers and glass fiber, to improve the
bonding performance between organic resins and inorganic substrates. Suitable polymers
include epoxy, urethane, acrylic and polysulfide polymers.

CFS-601 is offered in 25L PE pails, 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.
