Description:
Medroxyprogesterone Acetate, a kind of progestogen; an injectable contraceptive, mainly used for dysmenorrhea, functional amenorrhea, functional uterine bleeding, threatened abortion or habitual abortion, endometriosis, treatment of advanced breast cancer, endometrial adenocarcinoma and renal cancer.
Dosage:
Threatened abortion: take orally 1 time 4~8mg, 2~3 times one day.
For habitual abortion, start 3 months daily 10mg, 4~4.5 months after the daily 20mg, and finally reduce the amount of withdrawal.
Dysmenorrhea, menstrual cycle began sixth days, 1 times a day oral 2~4mg, and even 20 days; or for menstruation first days, 1, 3 times, and even 3 days.
Amenorrhea: take 4~8mg daily, and use 5~10 days.
Ectopic disease: from 6 to 8mg/ days, gradually increased to 20 to 30mg per day, used for 6~8 weeks.
Bleeding amenorrhea: 4 to 10mg per day, 7~10 days, periodic medication.
Hormone replacement: on the basis of estrogen, plus this product for 12~14 days, 4 to 8.0mg per day.
Endometrial cancer: 400 to 1000mg per week, or with injection.
