Characteristics Antioxidant 264 is soluble in benzene, methylbenzene, propylalcohol, acetone, tetrachloromethane, ethyl acetate and gasoline, but insoluble in water and dilute NaOH. Its relative density is 1.048, and boiling point 257~265℃and flash point 126.6℃. It is non-toxic, and gradually goes bad exposed to sunshine, then affects usage efficiency.
Applications 264 is good antiager without stain, and used for protecting SBR, IR, NBR and CR etc. from heat energy and oxygen ageing, light ageing and harmful Cu2+, then used in manufacturing white, colored, light-colored and transparent rubber products. It has good dispersion in rubber compounds, can be dispersed to rubber directly, or pre-dispersed first then to latex compounds. Food grade is also used in medical care and food processing because of low toxicity. 264 is excellent antioxidant for kinds of lubricants, such as, secondary processing gasoline, wax and other mineral oil, and also for PP, PE, ABS, polyester, cellulosic resin and foamed plastic.
Packaging Coextruded paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight 25Kg/bag.
Storage Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sunlight.
Safety and toxicity Refer to the MSDS.
