Preparation:
Add 300 g of tetrahydrofuran and 26 g of sodium hydride into a 1000ml three-mouth bottle, stir and drop 120 g of natural ethyl lactate when cooling 0 ~ 5℃, after 30 minutes of reaction, the reaction liquid is heated to 60℃, drop 74 g of natural crotonitrile, after two hours of drip and reflux reaction to obtain nitrilated furanone, the yield is 96%. Then the nitrilated furanone was oxidized with potassium peroxy monosulfate and then returned with water as solvent. A strong base anion exchange resin (Dowex2) was used to crack the alkyl nitrile to produce furanone with yield of 28%. Take 60 grams of natural equivalent furanone, 480 grams of natural methanol and 3 grams of p-toluenesulfonic acid obtained by the above method, add them into a 1000ml three-mouth bottle, heat up for reflux reaction for 8 hours, reduce the reaction liquid to room temperature, add 90 grams of sodium bicarbonate, stir for 30 minutes, and then strain the sodium bicarbonate. The purity of methanol was 97% and the molar yield was 65%.
