Product Description
Chlorobenzyl ether is a preservative that is widely used in cosmetics and is compatible with most preservatives (including potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, methylisothiazolinone). They are white crystals and usually have a weak characteristic odor. Melting point 77.0-80.5℃. Slightly soluble in water (about 0.5%Chemicalbook). 95% ethanol has a solubility of 5%. Soluble in ethers. Slightly soluble in non-volatile oil, insoluble in white mineral oil. Microbial control performance: can provide improved broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. It can inhibit and kill G+, G-, Aspergillus Niger, penicillium pinophil, candida albicans and saccharomyces cerevisiae.
