This product is an aqueous solution with a content of 69% at room temperature. Under alkaline conditions, it can immediately transform into an epoxidized structure, thereby reacting with matrices such as starch and guar gum to achieve product cation. The specific physical properties are as follows:
(1) Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid; (2) Active substance content: ≥ 69%
(3) 1,3-dichloropropanol: ≤ 20PPM (4) epichlorohydrin: ≤ 5PPM
(5) PH value: 3-5 (10% solution) (6) Solubility: easily soluble in water and 2-propanol
The liquid cationic etherifying agent CHPTAC has the following advantages:
(1) The appearance of the product is transparent water liquid, colorless and odorless, with low impurity content, less than 20PPM.
(2) Due to the use of continuous production technology, the product quality is stable.
(3) The product has a high reaction efficiency of up to 80%.
Liquid cationic etherifying agent CHPTAC, as a cationic additive, can be widely used in the following fields:
(1) Paper industry: mainly used as a liquid cationic etherification agent, widely used in the modification of cellulose, cellulose derivatives, and starch; Reacting with starch to obtain cationic starch, it can be used as an internal sizing binder, paper reinforcing agent, filler, and auxiliary agent for fine fiber interception in paper
(2) Textile industry: Liquid cationic etherifying agent CHPTAC reacts with cotton fibers to improve the adhesion of dyes; Reacting with starch to obtain cationic starch, which can be used as a warp sizing agent.
(3) Water treatment industry: Suspended solids in water are negatively charged and react with liquid cationic etherifying agent CHPTAC to generate cationic polymers, which are widely used as flocculants in water purification.
(4) Daily chemical industry: The cationic guar gum generated by the reaction with liquid cationic etherifying agent CTA is an important daily chemical.
