Pharmaceutical analysis
Method name:
Determination of tetracaine hydrochloride - neutralization titration method
Application scope:
The content of tetracaine hydrochloride was determined by titration.
This method is suitable for tetracaine hydrochloride.
Method principle:
After adding glacial acetic acid and acetic anhydride test solution, the samples were heated and reflux for 2 hours, then cooled. After adding mercury acetate test solution and crystal violet indicator solution, the solution was titrated with perchloric acid titrant (0.1mol/L) until the solution showed blue color. The usage of perchloric acid titrant was recorded and calculated.
