Pyribenzoxim

A novel oxime ester compound, a broad-spectrum selective post-bud herbicide. The mechanism of action is similar to sulfonylurea and imidazolidone herbicides, both of which are acetyllactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors. It has selectively super efficient herbicidal activity after bud on rice, common wheat and zoysia grass, but no pre-bud herbicidal activity. It has outstanding effect on controlling various grasses weeds and broad-leaved hybrids such as barnyard grass, big spike maisonia, polygonum hydropiper, etc., and is safe to rice and common wheat. The speed of herbicide is slow, after the application of herbicide can inhibit the growth of weeds, but must die after 2 weeks. The drug was moderate and wide, and was effective to barnyard grass at 1.5 ~ 6.5 leaf stage. In the 2.5 to 3.5 leaf stage, 100% control was achieved with 10g/hm2. The control was 100% when the dose of 20g/hm2 was increased from 3.5 to 4.5 leaf stage.
