USE:
(1) Chloramine T is mainly used as a bleaching agent to bleach plant fibers. The application is very convenient, only need to add appropriate amount of water to dissolve, and then add water to dilute into 0.1 ~ 0.3% solution, heating to 70 ~ 80℃, the fabric can be put into bleaching. Chloramine T can also be used in humans
To bleach silk and other fabrics, just put the bleached material into the solution, heated to 70 ~ 80℃, placed for 1 ~ 2 hours, out of water, and then washed with light acetic acid or light hydrochloric acid solution, in order to neutralize the residual alkalinity of the fabric.
(2) used as an oxidizing desizing agent for cotton cloth with oxidizing agent desizing, generally in addition to sodium hypochlorite, also can be used with chloramine T. Chloramine T and water when the formation of hypochlorous acid, hypochlorous acid decomposition, the release of primary oxygen.
Oxidant desizing is relatively rapid, but careful control of engineering conditions must be taken to prevent damage to fibers.
