Arbidol hydrochloride

Abidol hydrochloride is a dual effect anti influenza virus drug developed by the former Soviet Union Pharmaceutical Chemistry Research Center. It can simultaneously resist influenza caused by influenza A and B viruses, and may also have antiviral activity against other respiratory virus infections. Due to the variability of influenza virus antigen and the multiplicity of acute respiratory virus infection, it is difficult to develop vaccines. However, due to the source, dosage and side effects of interferon, its application in the prevention and treatment of influenza is limited. Therefore, the development of antiviral chemotherapy drugs is an important direction for the prevention and treatment of influenza.

Compared with other antiviral drugs, abidol hydrochloride has the following eight characteristics
