Nature:
4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) is a colorless solid, soluble in most organic solvents, such as methanol, dichloromethane, tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate, etc., and slightly soluble in water. Reagent companies at home and abroad have sales. The reagent is stable and can be stored at room temperature. It is irritating and corrosive to the skin. 4-substituted (CL, OPH, SO3H, osime3) pyridines were prepared by CO heating with dimethylamine in laboratory.
Purpose:
4-dimethylaminopyridine is a new efficient catalyst widely used in chemical synthesis. It has high catalytic ability in acylation, alkylation and etherification of organic synthesis, drug synthesis, pesticide, dye, perfume and other synthetic reactions, and has obvious effect on improving the yield.
