?6-Acetamido-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid [6361-41-7], N-acetyl g acid, is produced by reaction of the sodium salt of g acid with acetic anhydride in aqueous solution at 20 – 30℃ (yield 87 %). It is used to produce C.I. Acid Red 68, C.I. Reactive Orange 7, and C. I. Reactive Orange 16.
