Mitogen-activated protein kinase associated protein 1 (MAPKAP1 )/stress-activated protein kinase-interacting protein 1 (SIN1) regulates cell survival and cytoskeletal organization. It maintains mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2 (mTORC2) integrity and modulates Akt phosphorylation.
