Umicore CX33

CX33, also known as Chlorophenylallyl[1,3-bis(2,6-diphenylmethyl)-4-methylphenyl-2-imidazolylidene]palladium(II), is a homogeneous catalyst useful for cross coupling reactions with arenes, arylation, Buchwald-Hartwig amination, and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions.

1. Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling of aryl compounds.
2. Preparation of tetra-ortho-substituted biaryls by Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling.
3. Direct S-arylation of unactivated arylsulfoxides.
