Colorless or very pale straw-colored oily liquid. Very slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils.
Uses
5,9-DIMETHYL-8- DECEN-3-OL is found used in perfumes, mainly for soaps and detergents. It is not commonly available but is mostly used by a few manufacturers of this chemical.
