Danshensu Sodium Salt

Sodium Danshensu is exhibits protective effects on the excitotoxicity of monosodium glutamate in the late stage of pregnancy on developing mouse fetal brain.

Danshensu is an active component of Salvia miltiorrhiza (Danshen) that suppresses the formation of reactive oxygen species, inhibits platelet adhesion and aggregation, and protects myocardium against ischemia. Danshensu is cardioprotective, which protects myocardium from the reperfusion injury and inhibits apoptosis of H9c2 cardiomyocytes via Akt and ERK1/2 phosphorylation.
