Almost insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol
and oils. Slightly soluble in Propylene glycol,
almost insoluble in Glycerin.
[1R-(1alpha,2beta,5alpha)]-5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)cyclohexyl isobutyrate can be produced by direct esteritication of Menthol with iso-Butyric acid preferably under azeotropic conditions.
