Oncrasin 1 is a proapoptotic compound.

It is an anti-cancer agent that is active against lung cancer cells with K-Ras mutations. It has a role as an apoptosis inducer and an antineoplastic agent. Proapoptotic agent that induces abnormal nuclear aggregation of PKC ι and suppresses RNA transcription. Exhibits antiproliferative effects against various human tumor cell lines with K-Ras mutations (IC 50 ≤ 3 μ M) with minimal effects on normal epithelial cells and inhibits human xenograft growth by 75% in vivo .
