Notoginsenoside FP2

Notoginsenoside FP2 is a saponin found in the plant genus Panax. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be used for dietary purposes. Notoginsenoside FP2 was obtained by preparative isolation using hydrophilic interaction chromatography, stepwise phase chromatography and reaction monitoring.

Notoginsenoside FP2, a dammarane-Type Bisdesmoside isolated from the Fruit Pedicels of Panax notoginseng, has potential to treat cardiovascular disease.
