Dioctyldilauryltin is an organo-tin fatty acid with anti-proliferative properties. It has also been used as a catalyst in the preparation of polymer hydrogels with tunable stiffness and toughness which mimic the extracellular matrix, and as an initiator in the polymerization of formaldehyde.
