Calfactant is purified surfactant phospholipids extracted from calf lungs and
purified by gel permeation chromatography. Calfactant include phospholipids,
neutral lipides, and hydrophobic surfactant - three biophysically active
proteins SP-A, SP-B, and SP-C. It contained no preservatives.
