Hydroxychlorothricin is an antibiotic of the chlorothricin group. Hydroxychlorothricin can be found in Streptomyces sp. K818. Hydroxychlorothricin has anti-tumor effect and can prolong the survival period of ICR mice inoculated with Ehrlich cancer cells[1].
