N-(4-(5-Hydroxy-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[b]azepine-1-carbonyl)-3-methylphenyl)-2-methylbenzamide is an impurity of Tovalptan drug (T536650). Tolvaptan is a selective, competitive arginine vasopressin V2 receptor antagonist used to treat hyponatremia (low blood sodium levels) associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, and the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH).
