2,2-Dimethylethenylboronic acid is a useful reagent in the preparation of prostaglandins via 1,4-conjugate addition.

(2) using tetrahydrofuran, at a temperature of -76 ~ -40 C, using 2,2-dimethyl vinyl bromide, in the lithium metal and boronization reagent under the action of the reaction 2 ~ 3h, using hydrochloric acid to adjust the PH to 3 ~ 4, using ethyl acetate extraction, concentrated organic layer by non-polar hydrocarbon solvent slurrying and filtration, drying to obtain 2,2-dimethyl vinylboronic acid.
