Colorless, slightly oily liquid. Almost insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils.

Hydratropaldehyde propylene glycol acetal has been suggested for use in perfume compositions as a modifier for the Ethyleneglycol-acetal, but it has not achieved quite the same popularity.

Hydratropaldehyde propylene glycol acetal is produced by condensation of Hydratropaldehyde with Propyleneglycol.
