Fluorescein (Solvent Yellow 94) is mainly used in cutting fluids, automotive radiator coolers, antifreeze, detergents, cosmetics, and other water-based systems that require bright fluorescence. It is also used to display fluorescent markers on the ocean to facilitate aerial searches.
The recommended addition amount is 0.05% in cutting fluid concentrate, 0.01% in water tank and all-purpose water, and 0.001% in detergents and cosmetics.
