Naringin dihydrochalcone is a citrus bioflavonoid found to inhibit cytochrome P450 monooxygenase activity in mouse liver. Naringin dihydrochalcone prevents toxin-induced cytoskeletal disruption and apoptotic liver cell death. In addition, it was found to have hypocholesterolemic effect by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase as well as ACAT activities.
