Description
Oxprenolol hydrochloride has been reported to be a non-selective β-adrenergic inhibitor that also displays intrinsic sympathomimetic activity. This compound also shows the ability to stabilize cellular membranes and reduce plasma renin activity. Additional data suggests that Oxprenolol hydrochloride demonstrates the ability to counteract the suppressive effects of β-agonist on microglial proliferation.
