Description
Ibandronate sodium salt is an inhibitor of farnesyl diphosphate synthase (IC50 = 20 nM) which is also a bone reabsorption inhibitor. It has been investigated for in vitro anti-tumor effects, such as apoptosis induction, inhibition of cell growth, and inhibition of invasive behavior.
