Fenamiphos

Fenamiphos belongs to a kind of organophosphate nematicide which can be used for the treatment of many kind of nematode (roundworm) pests. It appears as a brown waxy solid or colorless solid. In agriculture, Fenamiphos can be used to kill nematode in various kinds of plants such as tobacco, turf, bananas, and pineapple, citrus as well as some other fruits, vegetables and grains. Alternatively, it can also be used for the treatment of other kinds of invertebrates such as sucking insects and spider mite. Fenamiphos takes effects through inhibiting the acetylcholinesterase in the pests.
