Fibronectin, bovine plasma is useful for mapping regions within the fibronection molecule which is responsible for specific binding to collagen and for other biologically relevant functions. It also plays an important role in cellular morphology, cytoskeletal organization, phagocytosis, hemostasis, embryonic differentiation and wound repair. It is a high molecular weight extracellular glycoprotein which is present in blood plasma. It is used to maintain cells in low serum conditions.
