Cayman’s Albumin (human) ELISA Kit is a competitive assay that can be used for quantification of human albumin in plasma, serum, and urine. The assay uses two standards: serum albumin for plasma and serum measurements, and an albumin purified from human urine for the measurements in urine. The assay has a range of 15.6-2,000 ng/ml with a midpoint of approximately 225 and 145 ng/ml (50% B/B0) in serum and urine, respectively, and a sensitivity (80% B/B0) of approximately 65 ng/ml in serum and 40 ng/ml in urine.
