Azido-PEG1-Val-Cit-PAB-OH Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

  • Description Azido-PEG1-Val-Cit-PAB-OH is a cleavable ADC linker. The Val-Cit will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. As this enzyme is only present in the lysosome, the ADC payload will be released only in the cell. Azido group will react with DBCO, BCN or other Alkyne group through click chemistry, PEG spacer increases aqueous solubility.
  • Uses Azide-PEG1-Val-Cit-PABC-OH is a cleavable 1 unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. Azide-PEG1-Val-Cit-PABC-OH is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
