  • Uses Reveromycin B is a novel polyketide type antibiotic shown inhibit mitogenic activity.
  • Uses Reveromycin B is an analogue of reveromycin A formed by rearrangement of the 6:6 spiroketal to a 5:6 spiroketal. Lacking much of the biological activity of reveromycin A, reveromycin B is a useful negative control in resolving the mode of action of this class.
