- Uses Candicidin D (CndD) is an antibiotic, which exhibits antifungal activity through interaction with steroids in cell membranes. Candicidin D inhibits S. cerevisiae, Candida albicans and other Candida spp. with MIC of 0.25-1 μg/mL in RPMI-1640 medium.
