Purification Methods
Crystallise androsterone from Me2CO/Et2O or Me2CO and sublime it in high vacuum. The acetate [1164-95-0] crystallises from Et2O, Me2CO/Et2O or aqueous EtOH and sublimes in high vacuum with m 165-166o, [] D 25 +87o (c 2, EtOH).
