Uses
p-Toluidine Hydrochloride acts as a reagent for the preparation and biological activity of N-acylleucine (arylaminoethyl)amides as non-covalent inhibitors of cathepsin K, L and S. Catalyst in the chemistry of azasteroids.

Safety Profile
Poison by
intraperitoneal route. Moderately toxic by
ingestion. Questionable carcinogen with
experimental carcinogenic and tumorigenic
data. When heated to decomposition it
emits very toxic fumes of NOx and HCl. See

Purification Methods
