Acetyltetrapeptide 11

Description

Acetyltetrapeptide 11 is a synthetic peptide produced by the acetylation of tetrapeptide-11 (a chemical reaction that joins a stronger substance to a weaker one) and consists of the amino acids leucine, proline and tyrosine. Acetyl tetrapeptide-11 helps skin become healthier by interacting with signalling proteins on the surface of the skin to address the look and feel of the skin.

Uses

Acetyltetrapeptide 11 is widely used in cosmetic formulations to improve the appearance of the skin by stimulating the synthesis of collagen type XVII and syndecan, re-establishing the weakened link between the dermis and the outermost skin layers.
