Biological Activity
Licoflavone C, a flavonoid derived from gorse, can reduce the genotoxicity of anticancer drugs in human peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Pharmacology
Licoflavone C has multiple effects in beauty cosmetics. At the same time, licorice flavonoids also inhibit tyrosinase activity, scavenge oxygen free radicals, and have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. In addition, Licoflavone C can also inhibit tyrosinase activity and scavenge oxygen radicals, and its antioxidant capacity is closer to that of vitamin E.
