Description
An alkaloid present in Schizozygia caffeoides (Boj.) Balli., the base yields
colourless crystals from CHCl3 and has [α]
25D - 139° (c 1.0, CHCI3). In addition
to the above plant, this alkaloid has also been found in the roots of Vinca rosea
and Catharanthus lance us.
