Uses
hyssop oil (Hyssopus officinalis) is attributed properties include healing, tonic, and stimulating. It can also be used as a fragrance. Hyssop oil is indicated for dermatitis, eczema, and wounds because of its cicatrizant properties. An infusion of the leaves is reportedly used externally for the relief of muscular rheumatism, bruises, and discolored contusions. The oil is obtained from the distillation of the whole plant in flower.
