5-METHOXY-2-THIAZOLAMINE (cas# 59019-85-1) is a useful building block for chemical synthesis. It is used in the preapartion of 7-?substituted 1,?4-?Dihydro-?4-?oxo-?1-?(2-?thiazolyl)?-?1,?8-?naphthyridine-?3-?carboxylic acids as antitumor agents. It is also used in the preparation of heteroarylcarbamoylbenzene derivs. as glucokinase activators for treatment of diabetes and in the preparation of dihydropyrimidine compounds as anti-HBV agents. Additionally, it is an intermediate in the preparation of iminothiazole derivatives as cannabinoid receptor ligands.
