Chemical Properties
Light yellow and transparent flake solid. Soluble in coal tar, ester, plant oil, turpentine, insoluble in alcohol. It has features of light color, color retention, has well solubility with nitrocotton.
Uses
It is used as a humectant, plasticizer, and coupling agent in coatings, printing inks, adhesives, and sealants.
Application
- Resin acids and Rosin acids, maleated, esters with glycerol can be used for EVA, SBS, SIS hot-melt adhesive & pressure-sensitive adhesive.
- Adhesive for SBR rubber, natural rubber ,SBR rubber & acryloid.
- Phenolic paint & road marking paint.
