Uses

N-(2-((tert-Butoxycarbonyl)amino)ethyl)-N-(2-(5-methyl-2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1(2H)-yl)acetyl)glycine is a peptide nucleic acid (PNA) that can be useful in the synthesis of dsRNA-binding PNA that inhibits influenza viral replication. It can also be useful in APOE genotyping related to Alzheimer's disease and synthesis of cyclic PNAs targeting the HIV-??1 TAR RNA loop.
