Aloe vera oil

Application

This raw material has a wide range of uses, primarily as a lubricant, giving the skin a glossy, soft feel without an oily film. Additionally, it is a high-performance liquid carrier, capable of holding a large amount of material, such as in the preparation of cosmetics. It can also be used as an admixture and solubilizer for certain waxes and resins. Currently, the applications and research of aloe vera in daily life include the following aspects: 1. In clinical medicine: Aloe vera has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antitumor effects. Experiments have found that the anthraquinone compounds in aloe vera extract have antibacterial effects against bacteria and fungi, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Aspergillus oryzae, Candida albicans, and Trichoderma. When malignant invasive sarcoma cells were subcutaneously implanted into female mice while simultaneously injecting ACM from aloe vera gel, tumor cells showed degeneration and necrosis, and the survival rate of the mice was effectively improved. 2. In the cosmetics industry: However, with the advancement of technology, our lives are undergoing tremendous changes, which has also brought a new era of opportunity for the renewal of the aloe vera industry. Literature indicates that aloe vera contains polysaccharides and amino acids, and its mucilage acts as a natural moisturizer, restoring skin collagen and keeping it smooth, hydrated, and elastic, thus delaying aging. Therefore, cosmetics containing aloe vera, such as aloe vera cream and aloe vera facial cleanser, are developed based on this effect. 3. Applications in the food industry: Aloe vera is not only popular in China but also highly regarded in Japan. The main aloe vera variety cultivated in Japan is Aloe arborescens. Literature indicates that Japanese people sometimes add aloe vera powder directly to milk or other foods. In China, aloe vera food research started relatively late; currently available products include aloe vera yogurt, aloe vera tea, aloe vera jam, and aloe vera beverages.
