Chemical Properties

SEPHADEX G-200 is a bead-like gel that contains a large number of hydroxyl groups and swells easily in water and electrolyte solutions. It is insoluble in all solvents (unless it is chemically degraded) and stable in water, salt solution, organic solvent, alkali and weakly acidic solution, except strong acid.

Uses

SEPHADEX G-200 are available in different particle sizes. It is used for column chromatography and thin layer chromatography in biochemical research.
