Uses
Decursinol angelate, a cytotoxic and protein kinase C (PKC) activating agent from the root of Angelica gigas, possesses anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory activities[1][2].
Biological Activity
Decursinol Angelate is a pyranocoumarin isolated from medical plant Angelica gigas th at exhibits potent anti-inflammatory properties. Decursinol Angelate appears to suppress type 17 helper T (Th17) cell responses in dextran sodium sulfate-induced colitis model. Decursinol Angelate reduces the production of NF-KB and COX-2 induced proinflammatory cytokine levels on TPA induced mice ear edema.
